2018 Yates RB-75, excellent condition. Thermal aged mahogany neck and resonator, rosewood fingerboard. 20-hole, flathead tone ring that is different from those used
in the Ron Stewart models.
Metal is distressed for the aged look that is typical for Yates banjos and the wood finish has an aged effect also. There are no nicks, dings or dents
that stand out to me.
Some typical wear in the first five or so frets. Doesn't affect performance of the banjo in any way.
Warren Yates designed and produced this banjo for those of us unwilling to pay in the neighborhood of $75,000 to $100,000 for a prewar Gibson.
Depth of tone, volume, clarity and power are all present. It has the range of tone that fine banjos possess, when used properly, in the context of the song being played.
