This pot came from England and someone had cut the hole for a dowel stick in the wrong place, thus making it impossible to mount a neck. I have filled the offending oblong hole with a piece of hardwood. I have found that using co-ordinator rods is a much easier way to mount a neck and so filled the hole. I then decided to abandon the project! The pot is slightly off round by about 1/16 inch. The diameter is 10 9/16 heel to tp and 10 ? side to side +/-. The tension hoop is original. The supplied head is an intact Remo with wear, but no tear of holes. The pot is 5/15 inch thick, including the cladding. It has holes for 24 shoes. The tension hoop shows signs of lots of use, is slightly distorted but is very usable - the outside of the pot shows lots of use and age. The overall diameter, with the hoop on the pot is 11 inches.
