For Sale: Mystic open back banjo from the collection of Reed Martin. The banjo is exactly as I got it from him, especially the string height & string spacing. This was set up for his bear paw sized hands like everything else he played.
The banjo is in great shape. The friction violin pegs can be tricky for time to time, but it would be possible to enlarge the holes and fit the banjo with more modern geared tuners. I did not get a case when I bought this banjo from Reed, so it is being sold now without one as well. I will include a few copies of Reed's old time banjo CD with the Mystic if you'd like: just let me know.
