The weather has gone from bad to worse, but no snow yet. Just very cold rain, that freezes every now and then. Ice scares me; we have an electric house and I can handle just about anything but a power outage. No power means no water, no heat. I have the detested kerosene heater for back up, and 50 gallons of water in jerry-cans. So I am sitting here with fingers crossed that the juice keeps flowing.
Tomorrow, I will get the Christmas things I have ready to wrap. I have a few handcrafts to get finished, and baking to do, but that's all fun stuff that I will be glad to have in progress as holiday week approaches. This month's Living magazine has several recipes for classic candies, and if I can keep my act together I may try a couple of those as well. That's my favorite part of holiday preparations--making things. And that includes making music as well.
Merry merry, indeed.

Joan, I am NOT jealous! We lucked out on the coast of MA and only got dumped with rain. Those a little farther north and west didn't fair so well though. I heard over 1 million without power in New England Alone. Yikes! Just keep feeding that new stove of yours and you will be snug as a bug! Merry Christmas, Brian
