I'm not immune to problems with contractors and parts suppliers, but the bottom line is that Nechville stands behind what we make. If anyone has trouble with Nechville, call me and let me try to help. I have learned of a few instances where I might have helped someone correct a problem before they actually sold their instrument.
Anyway, I do contribute to the forum on shopping advice and I feel justified in letting you know that I certainly want you to Try and Buy Nechville Banjos, because I do believe in them. AND I have an answer to most of your concerns. For example, The artistic side of an instrument is important and it's inspiring for the player. My preference is for the simple elegance of Natural woods with well-designed function. But I also have ornate and custom inlay services available to those with an eye for a particular style. (Stay tuned for the introduction of a fine new antler theme inlay). I also offer a variety of plating options and will discuss any ideas you may have for special designs sound preferences. Nechville is not for everybody, The soul of this instrument comes from the heart of the player. T.E.N.
