I Don't Know What To Think!

Posted by John Mark Batchelor on Monday, October 13, 2008

I'm almost certain now that men are not suppose to understand women....not after my recent relationship gone wrong......cuz I'm still scratching my head on this one....I mean I still don't know what went wrong......

As a good friend once told me, the day you understand women, you figure out you are queer. nuff said.

You lucky, my wife waited 27 years to dump me. We all understand.Things happen for a reason. My second wife is the woman of my dreams.

Keep on keeping on.  We get through.

-- Took a poop once.  Daughter of two weeks was crying, but I definitely had to be on that toilet for those few minutes.  It was the first time in two weeks I did not go running.  My 2-year old sons were crying.  My wife was crying.  I was where I was.  -- And this calm came over me.  I said to myself, "Self," I said, "you'll get through this.  -- But never again.  -- No more wives.  -- No more children.

My best man told me 16 years ago that you have to accept that they know things we'll never know and think in ways we'll never think.  Ours is not the place to understand this but to accept it.

-- My sympathies and prayers are with you.  Enjoy what you can.

Women. You cant live with em' and you cant live with em'. ;)

Vice-versa with them. I think that the best you can hope for is to peacefully coexist (neither of us were put on earth to serve the other). I'm in Vortex' shoes, the wife split after 21 years and round 2 is a winner as much as women can be. I suspect she would say something similar about me while rolling her eyes.

It hurts but you will get on your feet and end up with someone good. You will look back at this one and say "whew, that was close."

Hang tight, bud!

Maybe it's her problem.  If that is the case, perhaps you're not able to understand for good reason.  Maybe she doesn't even know that it's her problem, which again means you can't possibly expect, or be expected, to understand.

Time is the only cure here; at age 22, you have plenty of that left.  At least you didn't find out after 20 years, three or four kids, and a court order forcing you to give up half your stuff until you die.

Feel better?  Probably not, but that is where time comes in to heal you.

To thine own self be true.  Do exactly what you want to do with your life and the right lady will show up.  Believe that!
