Winfield is the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield Kansas. Thursday is the Land Rush at Winfield. We'll get down there on Friday (the 12th) for dinner or thereabouts. Actual stage schedule starts Thursday the 18th...I think. If you are there, please stop by our camp site. We're about a few sites north of the Carp Camp - close to the next porta-potty north of the Carp's. Ask for Mary Henderson & Geoff Shannon. Minnesota plates stuck in with some Oklahoma and Colorado plates. Love to actually meet some of you folks. www.wvfest.com. It's the picking festival of the year worldwide, which can be quite a good time, unless you don't like to get your backside handed to you by some 12 year old former national champion who hasn't shaved yet....EVER..!
