The gig went well and the acapella number was passable too. Got into a jam later which included a banjo picker that said I inspired him (lots of years ago). He's pretty good but typical, looses the melody with lots of fancy licks. I guess when ya get old like me you dont try to dazzle em, jus' get r dun. Makes ya feel good to get someone started on banjo. When I taught I always wondered if any thing was sinkin' in. Turned out some of it did.
