Pictures would help. Is the banjo a 4 string (plectrum or tenor) or 5 string. And if it is a 5 string, is the neck original? What are the serial numbers? What is the condition? There are many Gibson banjo experts on this site (I'm not one of them) who would have a better idea, but they will need the information I just asked for and probably more.

I think they replaced the neck when we took it up there and it is a five string. I will try to get serial numbers. They told us at the factory that it was a 1927. Thanks
