I am going to commit myself to this book when I'm doing tab or rolls. It's starts for beginners, but heck, I know I missed things. For instance, within the first few pages it's finally become clear to me one time I will definitely wanna work on the backwards roll. Backwards rolls are good for first string melody.
One really nice thing Mr. Trischka has done is to provide on CD and in tab tunes with representative playing styles of several different players. It's at the end of the book but I'm going to listen to those and start working on them right away.
