I performed for the justices at the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
All of them but Clarence Thomas were there (even Sandra Day O'Connor). They were all very enthusiastic about the music and it was an amazing experience to get to perform for them. Keep in mind, I wasn't really doing anything musical. My part was more of a speaking drone to my friend's singing roles, but a number of the justices still made sure to complement me and told me they'd never seen any one do a better Rutherford B. Hayes ;)
My role was being sworn in as president in 1876 by the Chief Justice at the time. So it was sort of an added bonus that Chief Justice John Roberts signed my score.
Everybody assumed since I was in this performance that I was an amazing music talent myself which is a joke. But I told a number of folks that maybe I'll be back some day to play banjo. :)
