I share your view of this festival. I was lucky enough to go last year due to working in the area (Raleigh) for a couple of weeks. What a great show. It is on my list to go every year when I retire.
I watched the weather and wondered if you got a repeat of the deluge we saw last year on Saturday.

We had a bad storm track through on Thursday evening. Heavy rain, hail and a tornado funnel was sighted. Fortunately it passed quickly and did no serious damage. The weather gets a little intense there sometimes. I love that festival. I have made some great friends there and it is like a reunion every year. It just doesn't get any better... friends, jammin', good shows...
