today I received my new inlay star and I installed it, it broke, I installed it anyway. I'm hoping when all is said and done I got the little star arm, where it belongs. Also I removed the plastic nut and I am using it as a template to shape a bone nut. I also removed the plastic 5th string pip and I have a bone replacement that I have yet to work with. I also bought enough bone nuts and pips to do my Gold Tone. If I am sufficiently impressed I will redo my rogue. and I will still have some left for another project

Hi Tom,

Let me know how you make out with the bone nut, I have yet to do mine and am worried about doing it properly. Same with the frets, but that's another story.
