Havne't got a clue what that was about - I'm a newbie from the UK anyway. Perhaps it's a new banjo technique - Frailing, Picking - and now Boogering ??? Bryan

All that this is doing is drawing attention to the song, which is probably what he wants. I’m very surprised and disappointed in the publication of it. I support this country’s government and it’s foundation in God and His principles. I also will defend and support our troops that stand in the gap for freedom for my family and all others who can’t stand for themselves. These men and women put their very lives on the line for freedom, and not just for this country.  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (Jn.15:13).

I respect anyone’s right to speak, (or sing), freely given that it is intelligently done. My opinion is that the song was done in poor taste and has no basis for the slanderous statements made in it. I support the fact that he is able to promote his CD here on the Hangout. He is a very talented individual whom I have had complete respect for and for his ability to play an instrument. But now, I can no longer say that. I still admire his talent, but that’s where my admiration stops. There was a rebuttal made on this person’s homepage stating that most comments were made by “unintelligent” individuals, to which my response would be…

“Yes, but still slightly more intelligent than this song”.

Remind me to Not invite any of you "Open-Minded" folks to our local hoe-downs? ;>) You talk of freedom and how killing supports it. But you appear to be slaves to your own "ideology". Sad that ... MrP

Hi, Aaron... Nothing says you have to like it, but don't go throwing terms like 'coward' around lightly if you don't know Boog personally. That's the same behavior the Taliban uses with the US, and I hate to see Americans thinking like them. And it has nothing whatsoever to do with how good a banjo player you are, either. You did good by serving your country, and you paid a heavy price for your service. I appreciate that sacrifice deeply and I honor you for it. Don't tarnish the good you did with stuff like this- it demeans what you did, and makes you look like a lesser man than you are.

If you won't stand behind our troops,  maybe you'd care to stand in FRONT of them!!

Hey friends,The only reason I lert a blog as I did is because of the response that Boog left me on homepage.I  was appaled at his visiousness .I just like banjos, its the only thing i can truly grasp on to I was unfourtant to see some graphic horrors..The banjohangout is not a place to dicuss political views, because no matter what you say .it will offend some.I am proud of my service there ,but I am aware that some folks aren't  Lets pick and grin
