Every time I pick up this banjo it sounds better and better. The more I play it the better it seems to sound...maybe my picking is adjusting to the banjo and the banjo is adjusting to my pickin and dang it sure sounds good in the bathroom or the kitchen! Anyhoo I sure do love the sound! I had to go out of town for a week and when I got back the banjo was not sounding too happy...after a marathon of pickin and grinnin it has never sounded better! Playing banjo is a funny thing as the sound of it changes according to how much or little it is played. A guitar is different...it seems to pretty much sound the same whenever I pick it up but this banjo is a wonderful mystery. Happy pickin everyone!
