How exciting it was to finally get to meet some of you in person! A bunch of us met for a Hangout photo at Tom Mirisola's vendor table on Sat. 2/16 at the Joe Val Festival. There were about 10 of us in the photo. I did not get everyone's names, & not everyone I met was able to be there for the photo. Many thanks to Tom Mirisola's wife, Karen, who patiently took the group photos with various members' cameras! My hubby, PyrPups, & I were pleased to meet: Kathy 315, Klondike Waldo, Bill-in-ME, 3 Fingers (Gordon), KayakJZ, Gabe, Arnie Fleischer, Johnny Butten, Rich Stillman, & Bill Keith.
Hearing & seeing Bill Keith & Rich Stillman & Johnny Butten pick together in the same room that I was in, left me in awe! They have re-sparked my interest in learning to be a better picker. The best part, however, is how down-to-earth each of them is.
Thanks for wonderful memories, one & all!! My hubby, PyrPups, & I are looking forward to seeing you all again, hopefully in the not-too-distant future!!

For sure, Kathy! Friends are definitely what it is all about!
I know what you mean about your fingers. I did more picking in the one day we spent there, than in the past week combined, I think! My calluses have calluses!
