Well I have a new year and have decided to take a new direction in music. I have been playing with the same group for about 6 years and have found that I am tiring of the direction of music we perform. It has gone to gospel only and I want to get back to traditional bluegrass. So I guess I'll drag anchor and look for new folks to form a group. I know it wont be easy but nothing worthwile ever is. Spring is a good time to make the festival circuit and look for folks with similar interests that aren't too far (distance) to pick with. Picking with an ensemble is a great experience once you get comfortable with each other.
