February 1st @ Windsor Folk

Posted by tklassen on Monday, January 21, 2008

It is cold, my fingers are cold, can't seem to get warm, the furnace is on overtime.  Looking forward to a few weeks in Florida next month.  In the meantime I am looking for inspiration in doing something completely different for my next performance. The weather just freezes up my process. Oh just for the sweet touch of spring.

Until she dies a couple of years ago I had to put up with my mother calling from St. Pete Florida and complaining that it was cold at her condominuium on the gulf because it was sixty degrees. At the time I lived in South Dakota and it was twenty below outside so I had very little sympathy. She knew that but enjoyed rubbing it in. So in tribute to my dearly departed mother I would like to state here that in Sun City, Arizone it is a cold morning with only 48 degrees and this winter day is unlikely to get get above 70. Pity us. Nyah.
