Yesterday, I met Steve Davis for some chowder at our Freeport Chowderhouse. It is always wonderful to meet fellow "hangout" members. So far everyone I have met face to face has been wonderful. As a beginner, I value the information and knowledge that you all share with me, and in return, I can share a little food with you.
Steve is a great guy and a terrific banjo player. He has been picking since he was 8 years old and it shows with the knowledge he has of the instrument. You all should go to his page and listen to his recordings, and if you have any questions about the banjo, shoot him an email. He is happy to share information, and is a kind person.
Thank you again Steve for your company over a bowl of chowder and I look forward to doing it again.
