Wrongly Accused-non-issue

Posted by clawfootcurt on Wednesday, December 12, 2007

My most recent blog entry tells about being wrongly accussed of being a blabber-mouth in a sensitive situation.  As things have come about now, it sure pays to have a good reputation with people.  The person who was so upset, is very glad that they confronted me, so I could tell them I did not do as they had heard, and they have not  held any kind of resentment towards me at all.    I think this is the case made by an old saying I really like.  "Your talk talks, and your walk talks, but your walk talks louder than your talk talks."  I am most relieved that I have not given my savior a black eye.

P.S.  My profile page says I'm a year older today.  It doesn't have the same flair as it did when I was younger.  But, my wife played "happy birthday to you" on the dulcimer this morning.  She is so sweet.  I talked her into making me a pecan pie instead of a cake too.  I can't wait.

Happy Birthday Curt!  And many happy returns of not only the day, but pecan pies as well!

Happy Birthday!! I know what you mean about the wrongly accused incident and you are so right about the walk talking louder than the talk! So good it worked out right! Dave P

Happy Birthday.  You should probably keep it quiet about your wife playing the birthday song.  RIAA or ASCAP will stend stormtroopers to your house to collect royalties.
