GRAMMY nomination for BANJO TALKIN'

Marcy and I are totally thrilled to have received a GRAMMY nomination for the CD, BANJO TALKIN'. It was nominated in the BEST TRADITIONAL FOLK ALBUM category, The Grammy Awards are Feb. 10th, 2008. Most importantly, I want to recognize Marcy as co-producer, engineer and incredibly talented musician on the cello banjo. Also thank the other musical collaborators who made many tunes and songs special: Bruce Molsky Jane Rothfield Adam Hurt Chris Cool Tony Trischka Hear clips at www.cathymarcy.com or CDbaby And hats off to Tony for his Grammy nomination for DOUBLE BLEUGRASS BANJO SPECTACULAR in the BEST BLUEGRASS ALBUM category. And to Bob Carlin and Cheick Hamala Diabate for thier "Mali to America" in Best Traditional World Music. MORE BANJOS at the GRAMMYs!!!!!!
