Together with long-time friend Bob Swaddling on bass, at 8:30 pm December 8th at the Taloola Café, Devonshire Road, Windsor, Ontario, 519.254.6652,
Our set list will include swing, celtic, jazz, bluegrass, blues, folk tunes, along with a few never been heard before and maybe a personal seasonal favourite.
Bob and I first met in Grade 1 in the fall of 1955, and became blood brothers in a solemn act which took place in his mother's plum tree the following summer. My family moved away in the early 60's and I did not see him again for over 20 years. What a discovery it was when I learned he was an accomplished bass player and he told me he always wanted to be a banjo player. Perhaps I infected him from the pin used in the plum tree. Now both retired from our day jobs we are playing together again and have moved from dinky toys to music. What a trip.
