I have lived in Washington DC for the past 4 years... and I hate it! My husband does too. At the time, it was a job offer for me that I could not refuse that caused us to move here and now we just feel stuck. I have been trying for the past 6 months to find a job in my field in the NH, VT area with noooooooooo luck at all. I don't care if I have to take a huge pay cut, I just want to get out of the city. I know that the job I do now does not exist outside of major cities (I book and monitor live international news feeds via satellite and fiber), but I figured I would find something that I could do...wrong! There are just no TV jobs and I am going crazy. When I am on the Metro or walking crowded streets my skin just crawls and I feel so completely out of place. I just want some space, fresh air, and no homeless people sexually harassing me on a daily basis. How do you make the jump from city to small town?
Just needed to vent.

Erin, I feel for you. Is there any way you can take most of your work to a home based business, and only check into work every week or two?
