I have a nice supply of the Pegheds tm planetary geared violin style tuners on hand. They are geared 4:1 like most standard banjo tuners. The four tuners for the peg head are 8mm and the new shorter 5th tuner is 7mm. They are not a direct replacement for tuners with a 3/8" hole or modern 5th string tuners. They can be used for an older neck with smaller holes or a new neck project. Measure carefully. The tuners are $106.00 per set and $5.00 Priority Mail. The set includes the new shorter 5th string tuner that can be used on a neck with or without a truss rod. There are pictures on my BHO photos page. The 5th string tuner in the picture is the longer tuner, the shorter tuner will ship with the set.
