Hey Curt! You're not boring us. It's interesting to hear what other folks are doing. Rather nice that you've decided which genre you like best...sort of helps direct your activities and practice. Keep up the good work.

Old-time music is great! I'm glad you have gotten the bug. I like your list of favorite musicians. I've learned a lot from Ken Perlman's books and Doc Watson's music. Enjoy the ride.

Cool, Curt! I played Scrugg's 3-finger style for a long time. Tuned into clawhammer about 7 years ago and have never looked back. Old-timey is SO MUCH FUN! And believe it or not, Gospel OT is even better! You won't believe how good some of those old hymns sound when you clawhammer 'em nice and slow. Try What a Friend, When the Role is Called Up Yonder and In the Garden. GREAT STUFF!

I like old time music also. Come to think of it, I like most music. Except for rap and heavy metal. No time for that. Keep on pickin' I'm hoping to learn more about old time playing. That clawhammer style sounds good and is intriguing. :-)
