I was just looking it over, and ran across a real nice set of words -- that should be central to the spirit of the Hangout.

I know the words are true. I've experienced their wisdom, personally.

With all of the strife, and hard feelings, as of late -- in our world, in our country, and on our Hangout -- this simple thought is worth a ton of caustic rhetoric:

YEs, Music is the great unifier of people. Reminds me of the Johnny Cash Television program where there was a real effort to bring together the American Nation at a time of great division. Johnny had , Merle Haggard,Pete Seeger, Ray Charles and many others that appealed to all the sements of American society. Johnny was a decent compassionate human being who overcame much adversity in his life and his music showed it. Hopalong Peter
