I sure don't feel like a novice anymore but when I here those that say they are Purty Good, they sound really good to me. Maybe everyone is being modest.
We need a new category........OK , I think I am now Sorta Purty Gud but not Pretty Good. My favorite song to play right now? Ron Block's Version of Cluck Old Hen with as much string bending as I can muster....its sounds sorta purty gud compared to what I hear on the CD especially with my son playing backup guitar. Need a bass and mando badly.
The pic to the left is of me on my Cervelo between Durango and Silverton CO. Need a banjo playin' picture I guess. I wish banjo playing burned calories like cycling does. :)

Some days I play pretty good and some days I am Pretty awfull. I think of myself as an improving player. I'm too old now to be a novice in anything...........Hopalong Peter........ And don't forget fellow members, Cathy Fink, Bill Evans, and Sonny Osbourne.
