As a lot of you know, especially the motorcycle riders in the group, there is a special bond that is enjoyed by bike riders. And we proudly associate with that guy going the other direction (usually), with the "motorcycle wave." For those of you that aren't familiar, when aproaching another cyclist, usually from the other direction, a biker will carefully let go of the left handlebar and hold his hand parallel to the ground in a wave of brotherhood, saying, "hey, I'm with you." Wouldn't it be nice if we banjo players could have the same thing. I think the banjo players union is the closest thing to the motorcycle wave that we can have. I'm glad I finally loosened that wallet enough to do it.
So here's to all you banjo playin brothers & sisters!! I salute you!!
p.s. how long does it take to get your t.shirt?

I understand you're aversion to my comment about the weather. Of course, I haven't really considered Wisconsin as a place to move for BETTER weather. I've done Eagle River in February. Truth be known, it's actually probably a little late again this year. sigh.....
