It was a Blast! saw a number of bands I had not heard of. Not really surprising, I spend alot of time by myself. Tom Catmull and the Clerics, the Mammals, The Gourds, Hot Buttered Rum, Broken Vally Road Show, Big Daddy and the Blue Notes, Big Sky Mudflaps, Corn Mash, and Russ Nasset and the Revelators. A free outdoor block party with alot of great music. I really thought that the Mammals, Broken Valley and Hot Buttered rum were the best. But all worth going to see. Second year of the event, and will probably become bigger as time goes on.
Saw some of my friends there, and they were having a good time as well, so I don't think i had a singular experience. The Mammals had Pete Seegers' grandson on the banjo, he sure was a' pickin' away.

Man- I'm sorry I missed it! There are lots and lots of good players in Missoula, and it has always been like this. The town breeds 'em, I think.
The Mudflaps have been around for a long time!
