Howdy friends, well 3 months down in my deployment!! 3 more to go! It is still hot as all get out here. Just yesterday i felt like it was a cool day and yet it was still 104 degrees out. I am looking foward to the winter here i guess it rains a little bit and everything turns to mud! that should be really fun!!! im getting pleny of banjo practice in however yesterday i put in about 4 hours of practice and just about killed myself of dehydration but oh well im dedicated!!

Thank you for serving your country. The last time I looked at your home page I mistakenly assumed you were at Oak Harbor and did not realize you were deployed. You and your shipmates do a job most folks can't even comprehend. Don't believe the crap that the news media put out about "public opinion". We are behind you 100%.
