This is the May edition of my Foggy Mountain Banjo Project.

Cripple Creek was one of the first tunes I learned on the banjo, so although I listened to Bennett Sullivan's recording to learn it by ear, I pretty much already knew what to do. I also listened to Earls Scruggs's recording to try to pick up the variations. I was able to figure out parts of the variations by ear, but I also consulted the Scruggs book for help.
The up the neck break is my own variation, which I threw in for fun.
I think I'll try Little Darlin pal of Mine next time.

Well done! Like the up-the-neck part, think I'll give that a try.

Thanks Wayne. The up the neck break is pretty straightforward I think. I'd love to hear it if you want to post a recording of it.
