Summer New England Season Over for Us

Posted by TedLehmann on Sunday, August 26, 2007

With our attendance at the Upper Hudson Bluegrass Festival in North Creek, NY the summer bluegrass festival season is over.  We started in Srawberry Park in June, attended the Jenny Brook Family BG festival as well as Lake Champlain, Otis Mtn., and Upper Hudson.  We've seen a lot of great bands.  The highlight, for us, has to have been Sam Bush and the Infamous Stringdusters at Otis Mtn.  We'll be heading south for the fall season in about a month, but we need to refresh a bit, take a few banjo lessons, and catch up on some obligations.  Both of us are eager to get on the road again.   - Ted

Ted: I was at the Champlain to talk to Peggy Seeger. Wish I'd known you were going. I was there on Saturday.
