Hello Everyone,
I am gaining interest in learning to play the Banjo. I am planning onbuying one, but I am unsure what what brand, kind, etc. I am wanting to a get a 5-string. I don't need anything expensive yet. I would appreciate some help!

What is your budget? Check my classified for a Samick with nice upgrades. I am willing to consider offers.

Hey dwhit,
What kind of 5-String, banjo style interests you? If it's BlueGrass you may wish to find a Resonator Banjo. If it's Old-time banjo, you may wish to buy an open back.
You will get many opinions if you post this quest in the Buy, Sell, Trade Forum.
