Today I drove about 575 miles from Tifton, GA to Lexington, KY, I'm spending the night then driving on to Columbus, OH where I'll be for a little over a month. I got to lexington all excited then discovered the dadgum grass is green! What's with the hype and no delivery about "Bluegrass". Oh well, seen some nice horse farms and the restraunt in the Holiday Inn is named "The Mandolin", bet they never heard of Sam Bush! I'm depressed, wanted to see some blue grass. Oh well, tomorrow's another day, maybe I'll see some before I cross into Cincinatti. Just kiddin, I know it ain't really blue, just drove all day and had nothing else to talk about.

I havn't been there but they play at a place called the Barn , I beleive near Pa taskala on Monday evenings Thats east Of Columbus several miles. I beleive they may have an open mike. We haven't made the jouney over to try it out because of busy summer for us maybe this fall . You could maybe ask around for directions to this place. I do know Frosty Pierce's band play there every week. andf it really show in thier performance. So if your blue for bluegrass this may be a cure for your journey. Later Frank
