Well, 6 days is the longest since June I have went without playing any banjo. Hopefully my left hand fingering practice on guitar has helped, I doubt I will get any direct feedback from it though.
Today, it was back to banjo. I haven't (so far, the day is not over) broke any new ground, but have merely gone through my tunes I had the fingering sort out for before I went away. I'm glad to say everything has stuck, and there were no real problems running through that which has already been learned. I was a touch ropey on 'Rock The Cradle Joe', but I don't think I quite had a handle on it before I left.
Edit.. Another best part of an hour on RTC has ironed out a couple of rough edges that were lingering. It was two quick shifts into a fretted pull off I was finding difficult, but the sections were easily 'cut out and looped' until I got them right. I had a quick look at Soldiers Joy but decided to leave that one for morning when I'm firing a bit better as it has some alternate string hammer ons which I haven't touched yet. In fact I don't think I've ever done such a thing on guitar either.

That is such a good result to do practising without your banjo and for you to get such a result! That is creative and inspiring!
