Had a go at Over the Waterfall again this morning. The B part is a bit of an exercise in ring finger/pinkie mechanics. Once again I am using muscles that don't get much action and the tiredness extends all the way to my left hand arm.
I think I am going to have to intersperse 'OTW' with my next tune Rock the Cradle Joe to try and ease off on the lh pinkie/arm a bit.
It might be in vain if the tunes to follow are all pinkie heavy. I guess the body will tell me when to stop if that's the case.

Over The Waterfall now in the bag. Have started on Rock The Cradle Joe. Easy A part, but a couple of awkward pull offs in the B part. All the pull offs make this one tiring on the left arm too.

Lynda, afraid it doesn't merit a wow. By in the bag I mean I have sorted out the fingering and can play cleanly at slow speed. I am doing that for all tunes, then I shall start on memorising them and attempting to bring them up to some sort of speed.
