I really struggled with Sally Goodin and Old Joe Clark over the last couple of weeks but I'm finally onto page 74 - Little Maggie. I really like the sound of the F chord (which JD tells me is Mixolydian). This bluegrass is all well and good but those three chords get a bit tedious after a while.
My rendition of OldJoeClark is at http://www.banjohangout.org/myhangout/music.asp?id=7654 A bit messy but it will have to do.
Incidentally, I can't recommend my new metronome too highly - its a Korg Beatlab - has programmable functions so I can just reach out and with one press advance to my next chosen tempo program. All the beats can be emphasized. A bit pricey at $99 but I would buy another if it were stolen right away.
