Over the last year or so, I've picked up a couple of new banjos...
1981 GoldStar Rb-3/Rb-75 reproduction. This is a powerful banjo, maybe a little on the bright side, but plays, tunes and behaves well.
1978? Ode Model C. This is also a powerful banjo. Heavy for shows, but also plays, tunes and behaves well. In my early years of playing, my cousin had one that I really liked. It makes a good option for playing in the closet or out at shows.
2006 Prucha. This is the newest and needs more field testing, but I love the sound and intonation.
