Since the new design has launched we've been hard at work here dialing it in, improving page layouts, and fixing bugs. Although we did a lot of testing before we took the new design live, with a site as large as the Hangout (and a team as small as ours) it's just about impossible to test everything before launch.
Speaking of our team, here's a picture I took just a few minutes ago. (One bug I just realized we haven't fixed is the web-based photo editor that would let me rotate this pic! Guess we'd better get on that...) That's me in the foreground, with Sloan peaking his head out and Jorge (the guy doing most of the heavy lifting in terms of coding) on the far left.
So we thank you, patient pickers, for helping to test the new site and letting us know here when you come across something that needs fixing.
I thought you all would be interested in a log of site changes... I'll try to post an update every day or two for a little while. Here's most of what we've done since Friday:
We've got 79 items left on the "To Do" list... most of them small tasks like tweaking a page layout, streamlining a particular process, or cleaning up some code.
In addition I've got a list of about 20 new features (or upgrades to existing features) which we'll be working on once we get most or all of the minor fixes taken care of.
Again, thanks everyone for your patience as we roll out this major update and dial it in. I've had a lot of positive PMs from members who see the importance of this update, and that's been very encouraging. If you have any feedback or find a bug, please post it to this forum topic.
Have a great day!

Eric, I deeply appreciate the dedicated work that you and your team do to keep the Banjo hangout running smoothly. The redesign has asked us to adapt to change - not always an easy task, but the site feels more and more natural every day. Thanks.

I had no idea there would be so much work to a new site. Sounds like you and your crew are working overtime trying to get everything set up the way you want it.
Thank you and your group for working so hard for us. I'm sure it's very much appreciated by all.

It would be nice (and convenient) to have the 'next page' button back again...

Meles: which Next Page button are you referring to? It's there in the forums, if the topic has enough pages...

When I hit an 'activity' subject in my home page, and my last posting for that activity was on page N, there is no 'next button, and I find my posting on (out of sequence) on page N+1, if subsequent postings have passed a page break.

Eric,
Any idea when you might have the groups links up and running? Thanks for all your hard work in getting this update up and running.

I'd say in the next two weeks, Peter! That's the biggest project on our "short list."
