Hi guys. I'm a total newbie to any instrument but have always wanted to play the banjo. I've recently bought a merlin dulcimer as I'm told they are relatively easy to play even as a total beginner. Has anyone else got a merlin?

I bought a Merlin mahogany last October as a B-day present to myself. I really love it. I posted a sample of how it sounds when well mic'd and recorded...both fingerstyle and strummed. I own a multi-track recorder and also added a little melody/lead track. Go to my website and click on "Merlin's Joy". There are lots of tutorials out there...youtube, etc.
