It's official! I will be building another Jenes Cottrell style banjo for the West Virginia State Folk Festival. Dave O'Dell and I are going to pick out an original Cottrell banjo for the built to be inspired by. Once the banjo is complete, the banjo will be raffled off and all of the money from the raffle will go towards continuing the festival. The West Virginia State Folk Festival is the oldest continuing Folk Festival in the United States.
Raffle tickets will be available online after the build is completed. So, if you want chance to own a banjo that I've built, your chance will be coming soon. I'll update as the build goes on. I'll be starting it next week.
