Well, my 2016 is off to a great start. Linda and I went for a "walkabout" and I found a wonderful old banjo at an antique store. It was in pretty rough shape, so it was affordable. It's a Gad Robinson 5-string ladies banjo with a 12" pot and 25 1/4" scale. Here's a video clip of the restoration process:

Mark, this banjo was lucky it found you. You are the perfect guy to give it new life.

Usually, my heart just starts to pound when I visit the Romero banjo website but I seem to have a weakness for 12" pots and that banjo is really lovely! Thanks for sharing! Great way to start your new year!
