If anyone has any help for me learning Lorena I would appreciate it. I am intermediate in playing....though if I keep going skiing in this cold Colorado weather I'll probably be picking as a beginner soon....hopefully my transmission won't need me repairing it any time soon.
and if anyone has info on John Hickman's Night Run as someone else recently asked....I'd say, "Me too.!" Never could figure it out and I love it the most of any of his tunes.

Lorena is a fairly easy song to learn. I play in it the key of E because that's where I sing it. I stay pretty well in the melody with few frills, as I think it sounds best that way. What problem are you having with it?
There is a clawhammer tab in the archives and the intro that John Hartford played, those might help you at least get an idea of what to do.
