Brain Damage! For Real.

Skull VS road.

Road wins, I thought I was hard headed, but the road is harder.

Please everyone who drives a car or truck, look out for the ones on their bikes, or just crossing the road.

I may never be ably to play an instrument ever again because some one hit me with their pickup truck o few months ago.

This is my first look into this BHO since before my own personal NDE.

Dear friends who may read this, please remember to be kind to others and don't take anything for granted.

Dave.

Sorry to hear that, is it loss of memory or something else? Glad you made it through a date back posting.

Sorry for your problems. Bikes are very hard to see and I think that's probably why some are hit -- people just flat don't see them. Hope you recover with full brain function.

Thanks for the kind thoughts every one.
I think I'd gladly trade some memories for some dexterity. I can't really hold a flat pick at the moment, let alone strum anything without sounding like a very rhythmically challenged cat. Maybe some day, I might get my stand up Bass to sound like something. I'm sure that day is far away, so no real bass players need be worried.

So sorry Dave. Hope you get better soon.
Best of luck.

Best advice I can Bring to The table now. is To remain positive about all things, and don't be afraid to try hard at whatever it is you are doing.
Thanks RB4 I'll try and stay lucky, maybe I'll even get to liking a "RENO BOMBING" or two now that I've had some sense knocked into me,..... lol-ing at my own silliness over nothings I've been making a big deal about.

Dave my prayers are with you for a full recovery. My brother who races bicycles at was practicing on the back roads in Vermont and was hit by a car and woke up in the hospital. The driver never stopped..he was off the road unconscious broken ribs and shoulder, leg and collapsed lung. I am happy to say that he persevered and is now, two years later riding again but not competitively.

Dan keep a positive attitude and I hope you are able to play again soon.

I'm very glad to know your brother got back to being your alive happy brother, I would like more responsibility taken by the many thoughtless drivers who have destroyed so much.
Being positive is one of the most important tools one can use in such situations.
Thanks for the kind thoughts, and sharing your experience with a near miss your brother had.
I just hope the ones driving their cars will be more aware of the world they drive upon.
I still sound like a rhythmically challenged cat while I'm trying to strum a git box, I'm sure the banjo will only attract cats if I were to give it a try soon, maybe in a few months, it will get less scary to me
