Hey Folks, Thanks for stopping by.
Spring is just around the corner and we are more than a little eager for it to arrive. That said Carl and I had an amazing winter touring 30 states plus England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. We escaped most of the inclement weather until we flew home last week in a snowstorm! It’s March now so we remain hopeful that greener landscapes and warmer climates will reach us in Virginia and you too!
The big news for us is our new, first and official duet CD, Sweet memories…never leave is pressed and available! Thanks for to all our supporters urging us to get down to it and record an album together – we finally did it and we’re really happy with the result. Sweet memories… never leave is a collection of 12 new and traditional song-duets, soulful fiddle, mandolin and banjo tunes. Carl plays guitar, mandolin, and banjo. I play fiddle, guitar and we both sing! Guest musicians include: Joe Dejarnette on bass, Joel Savoy on fiddle and Kelli Jones-Savoy on uke. In just 4 weeks the radio play of the new album has put us at #28 on the Folk DJs Top Artists List. Copies on the new CD are available at our website www.Dittyville.com as well as through Bandcamp (downloads), CD Baby (CDs & downloads), Amazon, Elderly and County Sales. We hope you’ll pick up a copy and will enjoy all the newly recorded tunes and songs. We sang and played our hearts out on Sweet memories…never leave. p.s. Carl plays a mean banjo on Poor Little Ellen and Rocky Point.
Also we are pleased to announce one or both of us will be teaching at ten music camps this spring/summer including: Swannanoa, Augusta (Summer & Fall weeks), Kaufmann Camp, Blue Ridge Music Week (Mars Hill), the Bluff Country Gathering, Mando Camp North, American Banjo Camp, Cowan Creek Mountain Music School, and the Alabama Folk School. We love teaching, playing and sharing old-time music with like-minded souls! Hope we see you at one of these camps, a concert or a festival soon!
Thanks for visiting and your interest in our music and see you down the road.
Sincerely, Erynn and Carl

Thanks for the update, Erynn. You became one of my favorite fiddle players the night I saw you in concert with Chris Coole and Arnie Naiman at Berea College. I'll be checking into this one for sure.
