i never friend anyone,you want friends find one of the in crowds and start joining in.
For camaraderie i hang around the forums and various pages,when i see something i like,i jump in.The off topic guys are a lot more human.
For real if you are silly enough to want friends here, you are going to have to mingle.If you can play banjo post some vids,clawhammer guys are getting with it.

If you like someone's posts or music just send them a request and then you'll have some. If you are active posting useful topics then others will send you requests.

Hi Jeff. You must "out the box" yourselves. - Personally I started to do comments to some blogs - mp3 - video`s. Not to get freinds. But only because, I liked the playing, and a the blogs because I had a meaning, about what were written. After I uploaded mp3`s and video myself, members commended my uploads. After a Little time some asked me to be freind, and sometimes I ask theme to be freinds. - You are a musican..let`s hear your playing. I will like to listen. - Cause it one of the really good Things about BHO. Listen to other banjoplayers....get a lot of inspiration to hear theirs playing. Have comments on the songs I upload. I have learned a lot, listen to others playing. Even they are one the freindlist or not. - And remember music have no borders, and a freind is just one you hav`nt meet yet.

Hey Jeff. You never know how people will react. I thought I would be overrun with friends after posting a picture of my Publisher;s Clearing House check . . . but no one even noticed. : ) so don't be upset, just send out some friend requests of your own.
