Ashley at Rk informed me that me new resonator guitar is on the way. Im looking forward to using it as my road axe for gigs and retiring my old 1392 Model 27 reso. Its an awesome guitar but it is showing its age and life on the road for the 20 years I have owned it. The RK-36 banjo i received in the endorsement deal is approaching 3 years old and has been just a super banjo. Its about all I have used for touring and I even used it in a recent new CD recording project for a group I play in.
The new reso guitar should sound awesome, once I set it up and giving it some serious playing time. I am enjoying my endorsement deal with Greg and company more than any other I have had. They are great folks to deal with and their products are first rate.
Update: I received the reso today and all I can say is this guitar was great right out of the box, litteraly. All it needed was some tweeking of the cone tension and dang, what a tone this thing has! The finish is first rate, it has a spun cone and good looking saddles. I will change the strings to something heavier (these are a tad light for me). But overall I am tickled with this guitar.
