I've got less than two months to finish a banjo I've been working on for over a year. I've got the pot mostly done except for some final work on the tension hooks and nuts, but the neck is in a rough blank stage. The fretboard is slotted, profiled, and bound but there remains extensive inlay work on it, as well as on the peghead. I haven't yet started on the "Rudy rod" dowel stick - although that shouldn't take too long, right? I need also to make a tailpiece, and etch designs on the tailpiece, heel cap, and dowel stick plaque. I haven't even ordered the tuners or strings yet. Can I get this all done by Feb. 27, 2015?

Sure! The important thing that I do when I want to "guide" myself towards a particular goal... by the end of each day I put just enough thought into the project to determine what the next SMALL logical step is and then do it the next day. Before long you'll have the whole thing done.
