I just started offering mandolin lessons in the form of a 3 week workshop in which the students would get 2 carols a week to work on...and I'm wondering if the same thing would be a go for banjo. Putting out feelers here, please comment below and mention whether you play bluegrass or clawhammer style. Rates are reasonable and would be via video chat. In addition to learning the tunes, you'd be learning about the history of whatever carol you're learning,in addition to performance ideas and tips.
Aside from that I an article I just wrote about my Etsy store got printed in "The Flute View" magazine, and imagine my surprise when my name appeared on the cover! (I'm a novice flute player) Very excited about this.
And I'm getting the rust off my classical guitar playing. It's the instrument I have the most years experience on,and took studied with a teacher in my teenage years. I was lucky enough to pick up a Yamaha C-40 guitar at Costco for $65 (It was the store demo from the looks of it) and included the tuner,DVD and gig bag. This will be my take along and teaching guitar. (I have an Oscar Schmidt classical also but prefer to keep it home-really nice guitar!
