I am not a morning person. But today I had to be up early because I needed the car while the kiddo was in class. So I was up and showered by 8, ran her into town to school, came home, and practiced til it was time to leave for the dentist at 10. Had a great time playing. And I just put in another hour right now. My elbow is tired, my fingers are tired, and all is right with the world. I wonder how much progress I've lost because I haven't made the effort for a daily early morning practice session? Would it kill me to get up an hour earlier just to play? Nope.
I think I need to decide what commitment really means.

Oh, and by the way - did anybody ever tell you that you have a great name for doing movie reviews?

I know what you mean Joan, when it comes to practice and commitment. This summer I have had alot to do and practice is just a lick here and now.I really need to pick my speed up but without practice it is not going to happen. So I have taken inventory and decieded if I am going to learn banjo I am going to have to practice.
